"Stand Up Men" at the GITW Film Festival

Emily Seshadri's short film "Stand Up Men", featuring GLI staff Ben, David and Dan, has been accepted in to ConnectHer's Girls Impact the World Film Festival.

With a focus on men’s role in gender equality, this film provokes men to commit to changes in attitudes and behaviour whilst highlighting the work organisations - like Good Lad - are doing to bring men in conversations about equality and real change.

The Girls Impact the World Film Festival is an annual event that focuses on issues facing women and girls around the world showcasing films from high school and undergraduate students on global women's issues such as: education for girls, maternal health, violence against women and girls, and a variety of other issues.

Winners will be awarded over $25K in prizes at the red carpet event, held in Austin, TX, USA on Sunday, April 14, 2019. Good luck Emily!
